Spina Bifida Association of Oregon, Support Group

My name is Nancy and my husband, Shawn and I are the proud parents of Madeline Jane (Maddy) who just turned two!  Maddy has Spina Bifida (they think L33 - S1...but we're not so sure they are right!)  She is an amazing little girl, with an infectious laugh - a spirited, independent and opintionated little go-getter! 

We have lots of amazing friends and family close by who help out a lot!  Shawn works for the City of Portland, as a fleet mechanic and I work for Metro, four days a week, as a Systems Analyst in IT.  We are truly lucky to work for such great agencies that understand that we have a responsiblity to make sure Maddy gets the best care....and therefore we miss a bit of work!  We take her to Shriners once a week for RGO's...she is doing amazing!
